To inform the client, operator and design team we develop exciting and innovative food & beverage concepts briefs. These documents identify the style, culinary theming, menu and operational requirements and where required detail the market business case to support the concepts.
Base Build Assessment
Increasingly we are engaged to carry out a preliminary assessment of building premises to ensure their suitability to accomodate a Client or operators food and beverage requirements. Early consultation can result in fit out savings and reduced capital expenditure.
We provide a fully comprehensive kitchen design service, from initial blocking and concept layouts through to scheme and detailed design. Liasing with the other design team professionals, we deliver a fully coordinated catering equipment tender package.
From initial calculation of laundry volumes using our bespoke software spreadsheets to selecting, designing and specifying the appropriate equipment and MEP services. Be it full on site laundry or simple valet laundry we have the expertise to advise on best design solutions.
Waste Management Strategy
Often overlooked and poorly considered, we regard the design development of food and beverage waste systems as a natural extension of our services and commence from initial calculations of waste volumes to advising on the appropriate strategies and waste systems which may be considered for design. A key part of this role is identifying the sustainable and environmental options.
Ensuring a design is correctly interpreted and installed is a key part of achieving a quality end product. We work with main contractors and catering equipment suppliers to ensure a smooth installation. This includes approval of manufacturing drawings, off site manufacturing visits through to defects inspections on completion.
Equipment Asset Audit
We carry out equipment asset audits for Clients looking to plan ahead for capital expenditure. Our detailed audits allow for informed budget planning and a structured approach to equipment replacement. Be it an individual kitchen or a multi property portfolio review, we are able to carry out audits in an effective and efficient manner.
Dependant on how a project is financed, there are many options on how to secure best value for capital investment. We are able to advise on the options for selection and procurement delivering potentially significant cost savings on project delivery.
