    Edgbaston - Birmingham, UK

    Tricon was appointed to conduct a market feasibility study to establish the potential for hospitality, conference and banqueting facilities. The project involved research into the current and future market trends within the area, formulation of the optimum mix of type and size for new spaces and financial projections for the use of the facilities as multi-functional space.

    Tricon was initially appointed to develop a foodservice strategy for the proposed new stadium. This included financial revenue modelling and initial spatial and logistics planning. We were subsequently employed to work as part of the design team to prepare scheme design for planning submissions. We developed a business plan to identify the potential revenue the catering outlets could generate.

    Tricon assisted with developing the foodservice and contracting strategies including menu structure, service delivery and contracting of the services. Our input continued with the hospitality services for the temporary accommodation for Games' family, officials and broadcast, requiring a foodservice overlay in a number of apartment buildings and the specification for the temporary dining facility.

    Tricon were appointed to advise on the food & beverage strategy, then provided detailed designs through to tender. The Stadium was the first in the region to have a level of facility normally found in Europe. We were able to bring experience from large stadia such as Emirates, Wembley and Liverpool, adapt it to the requirements of the Region and design an environment for the UAE.

    Tricon has been involved in several projects with the club and we have established a long relationship having been involved in the detailed planning of a number of the clubs facilities. This includes the creation of the new Directors' and VIP restaurants together with all the support areas, as well as the new Quadrant development.

    Tricon was employed to design facilities for the new stadium, incorporating a hotel an da new training academy. We were employed to develop the catering strategy, including schematic design of all the facilities. Following this, we developed the detailed design and prepared drawings and specifications for inclusion within the tender package documents.

    The new stand houses a main production kitchen that services the fast food outlets, cafe bar & on-floor regeneration kitchens adjoining the hospitality areas. The hospitality provision is extensive & can accommodate up to 700 people across 14 rooms with the largest suite being able to host 200 guests. Tricon was appointed to provide full design and construction support.

    Wembley Stadium - London, UK

    Tricon was appointed as part of the design team for the West Stand development which included significant foodservice facilities including 23 kiosks, 5 restaurants seating in excess of 2,000 customers, 70 corporate boxes and the director and chairman's suite. The West Stand incorporated a 120 bed hotel and substantial conferencing suites.
