    Sheikh Khalifa BinZayed Medical Centre - Casablanca,Morocco

    Tricon was appointed to prepare the kitchen and laundry designs and a waste management strategy for a new, 150 suite purpose-built private hospital in Morocco. The facility is to provid a range of key medical services to the private health sector and includes a wide variety of patient, staff and visitor catering. The Centre is presently under construction and due to open in the autumn of 2012.

    Tricon worked with Hamad Medical City initially on the refurbishment of its existing kitchens before considering the implications of Medical City. Tricon has designed kitchens to support over 3,000 beds across 8 specialist hospitals, for this new medical campus.

    Tricon undertook the schematic & detailed design work together with the drawing-up of the specification document for the new hospital. Our brief encompassed the catering, waste (excluding medical waste) & laundry for this 52-bed hospital with a staff, visitor & day patient catering facility on the same level. In addition, a number of staff lounges are to be located throughout the building.

    Cork University Hospital - Cork, Ireland

    Tricon was appointed to develop a new central production kitchen. The agreed philosophy was based on a full production kitchen providing a plated meal service distributed in insulated carts. The kitchen incorporates special dietary production areas as well as a sandwich central production unit. The kitchen also accommodated a 650 seat staff restaurant.

    Mater hospital has provided public hospital care to adult patients on the Dublin site for more than 150 years. Tricon was appointed to provide full food and beverage design services as part of the design and build contract for the new patients' kitchen as part of the redevelopment plans.

    The London Clinic - London, UK

    The clinic is the largest Private Healthcare facility on London and is respected worldwide. The clinic embarked on a major redevelopment programme which involved the design of a new central production kitchen and specialist satellite kitchen to support a new cancer treatment centre. Tricon carried out all of the detailed design for the new facilities.

    Tricon was commissioned to conduct a review of the drawings of the main kitchen, servery, coffee shop & ward pantries original foodservice design against the operational brief. Having identified a number of conflicts, Tricon was tasked to develop a scope of operational improvements & cost reduction, following which we prepared a coodinated detailed design package.
