Anthony Horton
Anthony Horton
Chief Executive
A founding partner of Tricon, Tony has over 30 years industry experience. He has led foodservice projects in many diverse markets including North America, Middle East and CIS countries. Under Tony's direction, Tricon has established itself as a best practice company endorsing its values across the industry.
Tony delivers training courses for the British Institute of Facilities Managers. He is also a regular speaker at industry events often quoted in trade magazines. An ex-hotelier, Tony has worked in Washington DC, Frankfurt and Paris and is a graduate from the University of Paris.An ardent Francophile, he is a keen supporter of the Toulouse Rugby team. He is then hopelessly challenged when France meets England in the Internationals so conveniently supports the better team!

A founding partner of Tricon, Andrew is regarded as one of the most experienced foodservice design consultants in the industry. With over 30 years experience, he has continued to evolve and develop Tricon's creative design capacity leading the way for Total Quality in foodservice projects.
Andrew has led major projects in North America, Middle East and Europe. He has also driven the growth of Tricon's business in the Republic of Ireland where he has been responsible for establishing key pan-European client relationships.
Andrew's passion for travel means the best place to find him is at the airport!

Mike Coldicott
Mike Coldicott
Managing Director
Mike joined Tricon in 1992 and became Managing Director in 2006. In over 27 years experience in foodservice design, Mike has undertaken projects throughout Europe and the Middle East. He now provides strategic overview and creative input to design projects ranging from corporate environments, sports & stadia to international hotels.
Outside his consulting activities, Mike has spoken at industry conferences in the fields of foodservice design and sustainability. Prior to joining Tricon, Mike worked for two of the world's largest catering contractors.Out of work Mike is a keen cyclist and has dreams of the yellow jersey at the Tour de France (some hope!).

With over 20 years experience at Tricon, John leads significant projects in the UK and Middle East on innovative strategies, operational models and concepts. Regarded as one of the country's leading experts in catering contracts, John was instrumental in introducing the Guaranteed Performance Contract in the UK. He also delivers courses on catering contracts for the British Institute of Facilities Managers.We always look forward to his daily blogs back from his extensive travels in the Middle East, titled with the soubriquet, from Downman of the Desert.

Operations Director
With over 20 years accountancy experience from both industry and practice, Sarah is responsible for the company's finance and operational functions. Her passion for the human side of the business has expanded her responsibilities to overseeing and directing Tricon's human resource division where she has been instrumental in planning the company's learning & development programme.
Sarah monitors the performance of the business ensuring a parallel delivery of services for both the London and Dubai offices. Asked to give a key thought on life - "chocolate solves most things". -

Business Development Manager
Paul joined the company in 2007 to identify and develop new opportunities to support Tricon's long term growth plan across the EMEA region. Using over 30 years operational and sales experience, Paul has been instrumental in building strong business relationships between Tricon and it's end users.Paul continues to be responsible for overseeing the sales strategy for both the UK and Dubai offices and developing the long term growth. It is just a rumour that you don't call on Friday late afternoon as it interupts the golf!

Gary joined Tricon in early 2008 with overall responsibility for the creative development and management of the design team. Drawing on 11 years project management experience, Gary has overseen a variety of large scale international catering developments. Gary's expertise ensures value is delivered throughout Tricon's design projects.
Prior to joining Tricon, Gary headed up the project management division for a large multi disciplinary consultancy. -
Stephen Wilkinson

Head of Management Services
Stephen joined Tricon in 2004 and now has responsiblity for heading up the Management Services team, leading projects across a diverse array of sectors. Stephen combines an insightful understanding of key market dynamics with excellent analytical skills and an ability to translate complex client requirements into practical solutions.With a background in hotel management, he holds an economics degree from the University of Nottingham and now enjoys finally being able to put his years of academic training to good use.

Ian Gauld

General Manager, Dubai
Ian moved to the Dubai office as Business Manager, having been involved in Tricon's management consultancy division for some years previously and following a successful and varied career in hotels, event catering and employee feeding. Ian recently spent several years running a highly successful procurement company, which has provided him with additional expertise in this increasingly important aspect of business management. His particular skills include the ability to interpret and effectively resolve operational issues and he has considerable experience in developing clear and practical strategic solutions to all his projects.
Ian brings an additional dimension to the Dubai office which will both compliment and expand the range of services the Company is able to offer its clients throughout the Middle East. It's apparently untrue that Ian is allergic to the sun, although we don't quite believe him when he returns back to the UK with a very obvious tan.

Bob's career has spanned more than 36 years designing leading foodservice operations in hotels and award winning restaurants. Bob was also a pioneer in the field of designing fast food outlets in the UK.
Bob leads many of our large scale design projects with an emphasis on listening to and understanding client challenges and expectations whilst inspiring his team's performance. His passion is in nurturing and training young talent in the industry. -
Alister Morgan

Project Director
Alister has been with Tricon for over 13 years within management services. Over recent years, his focus has been within the Education sector, championing work within universities, colleges and schools. He also works on projects in the Business and Industry sector conducting operational reviews and option appraisals. He is a member of the Institute of Hospitality and qualified manager in Health, Safety and Hygiene and has recently joined the Tricon team assisting on delivering BIFM courses.In his spare time, when work and the wife allow, he can be found on the golf course trying to reduce his handicap.

Project Director
Paul is one of our most experienced Project Directors having worked at Tricon since 1989. His expertise is in advising on domestic and international operational strategies, concepts and models in a wide variety of sectors. He brings significant knowledge and a practical approach to each project.
Prior to joining Tricon, Paul worked in managerial roles in the hotel, restaurant and licensed retail sectors. A graduate from the University of Bristol, Paul also holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Hotel & Catering.A misguided youth means you can often find him in the stands at Birmingham FC at weekends.

Jason joined Tricon in 2005 as a Senior Design Consultant and was appointed recently Project Director. Having worked on projects in the UK, Europe and the Middle East across a diverse array of sectors from public, corporate, medical, leisure and hotels. Having also developed and delivered many prestigious projects in the capacity of Project Director which include Shell Centre, Rothschild, Linklaters, British Medical Association and JP Morgan.
Jason's strength is in fostering strong relationships with clients and their design teams and his commitment ensures his team generates creative ideas with practical solutions adding real value to the delivery of projects.Apart from family, Jason's other love is Arsenal FC. A season ticket holder for many years, he is used to the highs and lows!

Design Project Director
David has over 22 years of experience in design, project management and distribution for all sectors in the catering industry and demonstrates a good understanding of clients' requirements, priding himself on delivering their expectations. His broad knowledge of catering provision comes together in a well rounded approach to catering design and enables excellent solution and innovation abilities.
Some of his more well known customers have been The British Museum, Harrods, Swiss Re, The Tower of London, The House of Lords, Jamie's Italian, and Soho House. He is also a practitioner of Wing Chun Kung Fu....so who are we to argue?

Jorn Sorensen
Jorn Sorensen
Project Director
Jorn has been with Tricon since 2007, when he joined after a period working in finance in the luxury hotel sector. With an international background as a Chef and in F&B managerial roles, Jorn has applied his diverse experience to a cross range of national and international projects from concept and strategic development through to implementation and subsequent operational support and control.
He holds a BSc (Hons) degree as well as an MSc degree in International Hotel and Tourism Management from Oxford Brookes University. With a true passion for food, Jorn is often found cooking sumptuous meals for friends and family in his spare time stating his favourite proverb "what is not shared, is lost" as his main motivation.
