Qatar National Convention Centre Opening
The Qatar National Convention Centre opened on the 4 December 2011. Check out the weblink to a clip from a documentary made by Al Jazeera TV which shows the spendour of the architecture and facilities. The centre boasts a 2,300 seat lyric theatre, three auditoria, a multi purpose conference hall for 4,000 guests, 40,000 square metres of exhibition space and 52 meetings rooms. The centre can accomodate a maximum of 27,000 people at any one time.
