    University of Dubai - Education

    Since its creation in 1997, the University has continued to develop substantially over the years. Tricon provided detailed concepts and foodservice design support for the University's new catering operations on campus. Foodservice was to be integral to supporting the innovative style of the design and acting as a catalyst for movement.

  • Commercial Bank of Qatar - Doha, Qatar

    Commercial Bank of Qatar - Business & Industry

    Tricon developed a complete catering brief - from advising on the appropriate level of catering to designing kitchen layouts capable of delivering menu, operational concepts and meeting projected demand. The high cultural mix of workers from the large ex-pat community to local workers presented challenges of providing a wide range of services over long and varied working hours.

  • Qatar National Convention Centre - Doha, Qatar

    Qatar National Convention Centre - Exhibition & Conference

    Tricon was appointed by the design and build contractor to review the clients outline designs and ensure the layout was fit for purpose to meet their design liabilities. This critique resulted in a revisit of the design principles to reduce capital and space requirements and improve operating efficiencies of the design. We then prepared a fully coordinated tender design package.

  • Hamad Medical City - Doha, Qatar

    Hamad Medical City - Healthcare

    Tricon worked with Hamad Medical City initially on the refurbishment of its existing kitchens before considering the implications of Medical City. Tricon has designed kitchens to support over 3,000 beds across 8 specialist hospitals, for this new medical campus.

  • Hyatt Capital Gate - Abu Dhabi, UAE

    Hyatt Capital Gate - Hotel & Restaurants

    An iconic building designed by RMJM architects, this is a mixed use tower where the hotel element was designed for Hyatt. There are 200 bedrooms from the 18th floor upwards and a range of food and beverage facilities including an all day speciality restaurant, bar and meeting rooms. Tricon were appointed to develop kitchen and laundry designs for all of the food and beverage elements.

  • W Hotel - Doha, Qatar

    W Hotel - Hotel & Restaurants

    Located in the West Bay area, the hotel comprises 350 rooms and several restaurants including La Maison du Caviar and Spice Market designed by Jean George. There is also a Champagne Bar, Ballroom for 500 guests, meeting room suits and a Pool Bar. Tricon were appointed as kitchen and laundry designers supporting the project team.

  • Qatar Petroleum - Doha, Qatar

    Qatar Petroleum - Business & Industry

    Strategy and design for new campus by Energy City. We were supporting the architectural team, SOM, which is based in London and New York. The project is now in detailed design stage. Our brief covers all foodservice on the main campus and also the nearby Beach & Boating Club. Design for new staff catering facility administration offices in Ras Laffan.

  • Zayed National Museum - Abu Dhabi, UAE

    The iconic building has been designed by Foster + Partners. Tricon was brought into the project initially through the British Museum, which has been acting as special adviser on international museums; our role has been its specialist on foodservice and to inform the direction of the design of relevant areas. We worked directly with Foster + Partners as design specialist for all food and beverage

  • Ghayathi Hospital - Abu Dhabi, UAE

    Ghayathi Hospital - Healthcare

    Tricon undertook the schematic & detailed design work together with the drawing-up of the specification document for the new hospital. Our brief encompassed the catering, waste (excluding medical waste) & laundry for this 52-bed hospital with a staff, visitor & day patient catering facility on the same level. In addition, a number of staff lounges are to be located throughout the building.

  • Radisson Blu, Yas Island - Abu Dhabi, UAE

    Radisson Blu, Yas Island - Hotel & Restaurants

    Tricon worked with SAS Rezidor to develop central facilities for a 200 and 400 key hotel located on the Yas Island development. The main kitchen in the 400 key hotel was designed to support an all day dining and 2 specialty restaurants as well as a ball room and banquet Hall. The 200 key hotel has a satellite kitchen supporting an all day and South American restaurant.

  • The Yas Hotel - Abu Dhabi, UAE

    This development, for Aldar Hospitality, encompasses a 300 key and 200 key hotel building, linked over the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix circuit by a glass bridge with destination bar. Tricon assisted in the creation and development of eleven different food & beverage outlets which opened in time for the inaugural 2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

  • Bloomingdale's - Dubai, UAE

    Bloomingdale's - Retail & Leisure

    The stores totals over 200,000 square feet with one of the most extensive ranges of luxury clothing brands in the Middle East. Tricon was appointed to assist in the design of the cafe, juice bar and restaurant within the department store. In addition, we worked alongside the architects to design the home store catering outlets which comprise a bakery, gelato outlet & a chef's demo kitchen.

  • Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski - Riyadh, KSA

    Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski - Hotel & Restaurants

    This iconic tower was the original concept design of Krause Bohne Architects and incorporates retail, offices, serviced apartments and a 300 bed hotel. Working as part of a project team led by P&T Architects, Tricon was responsible for the scheme and detailed design of the food, beverage and laundry facilities which include all day dining and fine dining and a satellite ballroom kitchen.

  • Doha Asian Games - Doha, Qatar

    Doha Asian Games - Sports & Stadia

    Tricon assisted with developing the foodservice and contracting strategies including menu structure, service delivery and contracting of the services. Our input continued with the hospitality services for the temporary accommodation for Games' family, officials and broadcast, requiring a foodservice overlay in a number of apartment buildings and the specification for the temporary dining facility.
