Tricon was a sub-consultant to the Dublin Architect De Blacam and Meagher to provide full strategy and design services for The Cork Institute of Technology including the training kitchens. The building opened in 2004 and accommodates the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Studies. The building won both the RIBA European Award and the RIAI Award for the Best Educational Building in 2007.

Tricon was originally commissioned by the management team to prepare a scheme to relocate a major section of servery within the 550 seat Food Court. Tricon recommended that a full operational review be conducted to evaluate the operational and financial performance and value of the various elements of the Food Court before significant investment was made in relocating serveries.

Tricon's involvement in the new NATO HQ takes international collaboration to a higher level. With 24 partner countries & 12 associations based in this new building, Tricon established a foodservice strategy & subsequently detailed designs for the 5500 personnel to be located in the building. The facilities include six restaurant outlets, for the staff & extensive private dining & hospital suites.

This was the third Morgan Stanley project we were involved in which has become the European Headquarters. The building has catering provision comprising of a 160 seat staff restaurant and Convenience Shop/Coffee Bar. Tricon was responsible for developing the foodservice strategy for the Restaurant and Scheme and Detailed Design for the Convenience Shop/Coffee Bar.

Set in the mountains overlooking Montreux and lake Geneva the former Caux- Palace hotel now hosts many international conferences for 450 residents which linked to the MRA organisation. Tricon was engaged to review the entire hospitality services which are provided by a small core of professional staff aided by volunteers from around the world.

Tricon provided strategic development and design advice, followed by designs for the foodservice areas. We were then subsequently engaged as part of the design team for the phase 2 development incorporating a 5,000 seat convention centre and multipurpose hall. As part of this development, Tricon has designed a central production kitchen for the site to service a 3,000 seat banquet hall.

Tricon has been involved in several projects with the club and we have established a long relationship having been involved in the detailed planning of a number of the clubs facilities. This includes the creation of the new Directors' and VIP restaurants together with all the support areas, as well as the new Quadrant development.

RBS's stunning new corporate campus provides facilities for 3,500 personnel. Tricon was tasked with developing a cohesive catering strategy & design concept to service the needs of the campus. The final strategy considered operational efficiencies throughout the campus site & the design was a 'street' housing a number of outlets serviced by a central production kitchen.

Mater hospital has provided public hospital care to adult patients on the Dublin site for more than 150 years. Tricon was appointed to provide full food and beverage design services as part of the design and build contract for the new patients' kitchen as part of the redevelopment plans.

Located on the shoreline near Tivat this new five star resort development will comprise 172 key villa units and 107 branded apartments. Tricon are commissioned to complete designs for the all day dining restaurant, speciality seafood restaurant and poolside grill, central production kitchen and laundry.

Tricon was appointed to develop a new central production kitchen. The agreed philosophy was based on a full production kitchen providing a plated meal service distributed in insulated carts. The kitchen incorporates special dietary production areas as well as a sandwich central production unit. The kitchen also accommodated a 650 seat staff restaurant.
